The construction of the D49 highway aims not only to ease local traffic, but also to boost the economy of the entire Zlín Region. The construction of the D49 highway within the Holešov Strategic Industrial Zone will especially benefit current and incoming investors. It will offer them completely new logistical options that have been waiting for a long time.

After two years, the Holešov Industrial Zone has a new Chairman of the Board, who will be Radovan Macháček, the current councilor and former mayor of Chropyně, as of August 2023.

After the successful year 2022, when several new investors started construction in the Holešov Zone and a total of 11 purchase contracts were concluded, the first half of this year was mainly focused on completing the divided work.

The foreign presentation of the Holešov industrial zone continued this month as well. The management of Zone Holešov, together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Lipavský, and 14 other Czech businessmen participated in a trade mission to the Middle East. The companies that participated in this mission were pre-selected based on several parameters, so not everyone had the opportunity to participate.

The Holešov industrial zone is constantly open to new opportunities. At the same time, he is looking for them not only in the Czech Republic, but also abroad. A few days ago, for example, she presented herself in Singapore at the Czech-Singapore business forum and in the Republic of Korea at a business meeting in Busan.

For several months now, we have been in 2023, which will undoubtedly be another important period for us. However, we would like to go back to the previous year, summarize our achievements and the overall situation in the Holešov Strategic Industrial Zone.

In 2022, three new companies started construction in the Holešov Zone, one of them was VAPOL CZ, dealing with the distribution of towing equipment and other auto parts. About a year after the start of construction, it has now successfully started its operation.

The Holešov Strategic Industrial Zone is a project of the Zlín Region with the participation of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the CzechInvest Business and Investment Promotion Agency. Among other things, it celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2022.

The management of Zóna Holešov has recently been working hard on the large-scale expansion of the internal infrastructure, which, among other things, responds to the enormous demand of investors for vacant land.

The Zlín region has some of the best graduates, but these alone are not enough for a successful business. Investors need to rely on a reliable partner who will help them in all phases of the business. This is not only the Progress Technology Park in the Holešov Zone, but also the Zlín region itself and its projects.
