Another significant expansion is planned in the Holešov industrial zone, which will bring new dynamics to the regional industry. The companies VAPOL CZ and Plastix Trade presented ambitious plans to expand their existing land. This strengthens confidence not only in the industrial zone itself, but also in the economy and the outlook of the sector. Purchase contracts for the sale of land were discussed and approved by the Zlín Regional Council on April 29, 2024.

Both companies will expand existing production with new production and storage halls.

"Concluding new purchase contracts for land in our industrial zone is a step in the right direction. With it, we not only support the growth and development of established investors, but also strengthen the economic base of the entire area. These new capacities will bring more job opportunities to people and increase the attractiveness of the industrial zone for potential investors," said the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holešov Industrial Zone, Radovan Macháček.

VAPOL CZ is one of the largest suppliers of towing equipment and other components for the automotive industry. The new buildings will house automated assembly areas, a development center and storage areas. Its management chose the Holešov Zone in 2022 especially with regard to the excellent connection to the highway network. The area occupied by the company is 1.5 ha, and the construction cost about 100 million crowns. VAPOL has been on the Czech market since 1991, but gradually expanded to other countries (for example, to Hungary in 2005, and 10 years later to Slovakia). It is mainly oriented towards wholesale sales (stores, services, etc.).

The company Plastix Trade deals with the production of plastic parts by vacuum forming. The new plan will thus lead to the expansion of the existing production area.
