Towards the end of 2023, a new public opinion survey was conducted for the needs of the Holešov industrial zone and the Zlín Region as the owner of the Zone, the aim of which was to find out the current state of perception of the Holešov license plate number by the citizens of the Zlín Region and compare it with the previous research that took place in 2021. Based on of the data that was obtained in this way, compared to previous years, Zóna Holešov is now doing much better.

Within the Zlín Region, awareness of the Holešov Strategic Industrial Zone has increased by 11% compared to 2021, and it can thus be classified as one of the key topics of the region. Two-thirds of people who know about the Holešov Zone project rate it very positively and are satisfied with the functioning of the Zone. The main factors that had a significant impact on the positive perception are mainly new job opportunities in the area, higher wages and an overall increase in competitiveness. The survey also shows that people would appreciate even more companies entering the Zone. It turns out that wages are more important to citizens than before.

In Holešov and its immediate surroundings, people perceive the overall offer of services, shops, culture, sports, but also education, housing and transport services more positively, again compared to the year 2021, when the last public opinion poll was conducted. On the contrary, those interviewed are still bothered by the unfinished highway connection and lower occupancy by investors. About 51% of the respondents perceive the Holešov zone positively. Even in this case, people most positively evaluate benefits in the form of higher wages and new job opportunities.

The public opinion survey, which was conducted in November 2023, therefore shows that the key issue is primarily the low occupancy of the Zone. People support new construction, and therefore the entry of investors into the Holešov Zone, especially with the prospect of better job opportunities in the area and higher wages. People also want to have the issue of transport "solved", in this case they care above all that lower class roads are "relieved" and that traffic from/to the Holešov Zone can be routed as a priority along the newly built D49 highway.
