The Zlín Region thus achieved the fifth lowest unemployment rate among the regions of the Czech Republic.

Chances for new employment and current investments in the Holešov Strategic Industrial Zone

The positive news is that employers in the region still offer a wide range of job opportunities. At the end of February, the Zlín Region Employment Office offered approximately 3,500 job vacancies. Companies are primarily looking for qualified workers, but those with lower education also have a chance to find suitable employment. Current figures show that the labor market in the Zlín Region remains stable and the unemployment rate remains low. Although some sectors face challenges, the overall development indicates a positive trend and good conditions for employment in the region, which can ultimately benefit not only companies entering the Holešov Strategic Industrial Zone or existing investors, but also those interested in work.

For example, Plastix Trade, a company specializing in the production of plastic parts using vacuum forming technology, recently decided to expand its production site in the Holešov Industrial Zone.

“The expansion of production capacities in the Holešov Industrial Zone represents an important milestone for the development of our region. Cooperation with investors such as Plastix Trade allows us not only to create new jobs, but also to improve the competitiveness of the entire area in the long term, which makes the Holešov Strategic Industrial Zone very attractive to investors, both current and potential,” said Radovan Macháček, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holešov Industrial Zone.

The investor Oxalis also decided to build a new production and logistics center in the Holešov Strategic Industrial Zone.

“We are very happy to welcome such a strong partner as Oxalis here. We believe that their center will be completed quickly and will bring not only a pleasant aroma to the entire zone, but also new jobs and other opportunities,” added Macháček.
