Over the past four years, several important milestones have been achieved in the Holešov Strategic Industrial Zone, which were summarized for Magazín21 of the Zlín Region by Deputy Governor Lubomír Traub, who manages the Holešov Industrial Zone.

Development and occupation: Between 2020 and 2024, 21 hectares of the Zone have been successfully occupied by small and medium-sized enterprises employing around 400 people. The priority is still to attract more new investors, which is why intensive negotiations with strategic investors on the sale of another 97 hectares of land took place in the last year.

New projects: As part of the expansion plan, it was decided to create a so-called Technology and Education Center on an area of 15 hectares, the basis of which will be a multifunctional traffic circle. This project aims to strengthen regional innovation and education, potential operators and investors are currently being sought.

New investment agency ZRIA: The investment agency ZRIA has also recently been established, which will coordinate development activities in the region and support the competitiveness and economic growth of the Zlín region. ZRIA will also become a key partner in efforts to maximize the potential of the Holešov Strategic Industrial Zone.

"The Holešov strategic industrial zone is becoming a center where innovation, growth and interesting opportunities meet. We are therefore proud of the results achieved and look forward to further development, which will bring new opportunities and strengthen the position of the Holešov Zone on the map of industrial and technological centers in the Czech Republic," added Radovan Macháček, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holešov Industrial Zone.
